Your Role and Responsibilities 

Takes ownership and accountability of the Product  

Interface with constituent teams: Engineering, Sec-ops, App-ops, Infrastructure Team, etc 

Analyze errors, exceptions and identify a feedback loop to prevent future occurrence. 

Develop, Define & Implement automatic healing and recovery strategies, and work with development team. 

Define key operational metrics and apply tools to gauge the product health in development, test and production environment. 

Sharing in the collective team vision and successfully promoting the why and how to all teams 

Driving the adoption of Site Reliability and Agile principles across the organization 

Demonstrated sense of ownership and drive to improve production operations. 

Proven ability to understand and troubleshoot complex problems under pressure. 

Ability to zoom in and zoom out to understand the holistic architecture and design of the product/site. 

 

Required Professional and Technical Expertise 

Overall 5+ years of experience with relevant technical and working skills on Azure cloud environment or on a cloud-based product with proven record for delivering high-quality, large-scale solutions. 

3+ years of related experience in UNIX/LINUX Platforms, GIT, Jenkins, Oracle / PostgreSQL /MySQL, Java, Python, NodeJS. Groovy, Ansible, Selenium   

Strong communication, Comfort with collaboration, self-driven, workload management capabilities and reaching across functional borders.  

A strong focus on business outcomes 

Should have excellent understanding of DevOps principles. 

Logical/technical mindset and problem-solving skills that enable us to understand various processes and work within and around them and to understand, identify, and resolve problems in the process.  

Have good exposure to Operational aspects (Monitoring, Automation, Remediations)  

Troubleshooting and documenting Root cause analysis and automate the incident. 

Design/Build activities – ability to define coding standards, quality gates, security frameworks and ensure that they are comprehensively implemented across all design & build activities. 

 

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise 

Effectively communicate with business and technical team members. 

Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication Skill. 

Run & Manage activities – ability to work with Operations teams, define monitoring frameworks, build automation runbooks, conceptualize, and implement performance dashboards.  

Logical/technical mindset and problem-solving skills that enable to understand various processes and work within and around them and to understand, identify, and resolve problems in the process 

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
