Device TCAD Staff Engineer (New College Graduate)

They are seeking a highly motivated new college graduate to join their Process Integration and Modeling team, focusing on device TCAD and virtual manufacturing engineering to develop future memory technology.
Responsibilities
- Create simulation flows, develop physical models, and analyze the fundamental device and process issues encountered in cutting-edge memory technology development
- Deliver executable models to support process optimization and cell device characteristics improvement
- Work closely with process integration, cell device and other cross-functional teams to understand development challenges, provide solutions, guidance and recommendations through TCAD simulations and innovations
- Explore new memory devices and system modeling
Skills
- This position requires a minimum of an MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field, graduating before July 2026. A Ph.D. degree is strongly recommended and prior working experience in semiconductor industry is highly desired. Recent graduated postdoctoral scholar may also be considered
- The candidate must have solid understanding in semiconductor device physics
- The ideal individual has hands-on experience with TCAD device or process simulation tools such as Sentaurus
- Good understanding of NAND Flash memory and/or emerging memory is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, Tcl or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
