DevOps Engineer

Resend is growing rapidly and we're scaling our infrastructure to support millions of emails sent every day.

You will join a team of engineers who are passionate about building a reliable and scalable platform.

• Help define the architecture to support millions of daily API requests

  Improve high availability across multiple cloud providers, primarily AWS

  Drive long-term infrastructure strategy to support our growth trajectory

  Scale databases like Postgres and Clickhouse for optimal performance

  Enhance observability by using monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana or Prometheus

  Design CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline delivery

  Refine disaster recovery plans to ensure quick and reliable recovery

   

  You will be a great fit if you...

  Have 5+ years experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or SRE roles

  Have deep experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS and CloudFormation

  Can communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally

  Can consistently work in Americas/Europe timezone

  Have a strong collaborative mindset and love helping others

  You will be an exceptional fit if you also...

  Know about email best practices or are willing to learn more about this domain

  Are proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools (CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

  Have experience architecting and scaling distributed systems on AWS

  Have experience with Node.js and Serverless architecture
