We’re looking for a DFM Engineer to join our partner’s company!

Our partner operates in the on-demand manufacturing ecosystem, delivering technology-driven manufacturing solutions to a diverse global customer base across industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, and medical devices. With a strong international presence and a rapidly growing structure, the company enables efficient, scalable, and high-quality production through its global manufacturing network.

In this role, you will be part of the Project Engineering team, working closely with customers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders to evaluate manufacturability, optimize designs, and ensure successful project execution. This position plays a critical role in solving engineering challenges, improving production feasibility, and supporting high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate customer designs for manufacturability (DFM) and provide improvement recommendations

Optimize designs based on production capabilities, cost efficiency, and technical feasibility

Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production processes

Support production troubleshooting and resolve technical challenges during order execution

Act as a technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams

Contribute to sourcing strategies to balance cost, quality, and delivery performance

Support initiatives to strengthen the manufacturing partner network and technical capabilities

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication

Strong understanding of process cycle times, material limitations, and cost optimization

Experience working with suppliers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams

Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)

Solid knowledge of GD&T and quality/inspection processes

Ability to analyze CAD models and technical drawings to identify DFM improvements

Based within the CIS region

Preferred Technical Skills
Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machining and turning operations

Familiarity with post-processing techniques and surface treatments

Experience with advanced manufacturing processes such as EDM, grinding, or similar methods

Understanding of fabrication and forming processes (cutting, bending, welding, stamping)

Exposure to additive manufacturing technologies
