Job Description

A key educator providing technical training, blood in-servicing, CQI training, efficient service, and support to our internal and external clients. Responsible for maintaining customer accounts through on-site WebEx and telephone contact. Visit all existing accounts in your assigned territory to ensure client satisfaction, rapport, and compliance to best practices. As an NCE, you will provide education, computer systems, best practices for handling specimens, as well as packing and shipping samples.

Pay Range: $87,000 - $150,000 per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

Train and educate dialysis clinic staff on laboratory procedures, applications, and best practices through quarterly on-site visits and remote support across assigned territory.

Serve as primary clinical liaison between dialysis facilities and laboratory services, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting aberrant results, and ensuring seamless account integration.

Review specimen condition reports and create a corrective action plan for receptive clinics to ensure improvement on specimen quality and integrity.

Conduct facility assessments and deliver comprehensive reports documenting client interactions, training needs, and service quality feedback within established timelines.

Contribute to developing and maintaining relevant educational materials, including training tools, newsletters, and resources that support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Provide technical and clinical support via phone and in-person to address client needs, resolve procedural issues, and promote comprehensive laboratory services.

Drive operational excellence by identifying cost reduction opportunities, suggesting process improvements, and managing territory activities within allocated budget parameters.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience.
Preferred Work Experience: Prior experience in a dialysis setting, Prior experience as an educator/trainer.
Certification in Nephrology preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods of time.

Knowledge:

Advanced knowledge of general computer applications - Word, Excel, Internet.

Skills:

Energetic and motivated personality with a strong work ethic.
Must possess excellent customer service skills and ability to follow through.
Ability to train face-to-face and in virtual setting classes.
Excellent time management skills required.
Demonstrate analytical ability and judgment.
Excellent leadership skills, written verbal communication, organization, and interpersonal.

Must have valid Drivers License with proof of insurance for your own vehicle.

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree: Required.
