Role Overview

The Digital Media & Marketing Manager is a strategic, creative, and hands-on role responsible for overseeing digital content, marketing strategy, and audience growth across multiple interconnected initiatives. This position owns the full lifecycle of content—from podcast and video to web, email, and social—ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable impact.

The role supports mission-driven work focused on education, storytelling, and community engagement, guiding audiences across multiple touchpoints while maintaining distinct yet cohesive brand voices.

Core Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Social Media & Marketing
• Plan, manage, and execute weekly and monthly content calendars across platforms
• Create, write, edit, and publish posts, captions, and short-form video content
• Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, speaking engagements, educational material) into social, email, and web assets
• Monitor engagement, comments, and messages; foster meaningful community interaction
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust content and campaigns accordingly
• Coordinate launches, promotions, and evergreen marketing initiatives

Podcast & Multimedia Strategy
• Oversee podcast production, publishing, and promotion
• Edit or manage editing of audio and video content
• Develop SEO-optimized episode titles, descriptions, and show notes
• Repurpose podcast content into blogs, social posts, short-form video, and email content
• Track podcast performance and recommend strategic improvements

Digital Content & Social Media Marketing
• Manage content calendars across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Create educational, promotional, and storytelling content
• Lead short-form video strategy and execution
• Monitor relevant industry and content trends
• Grow and engage online communities

Website Management & SEO
• Manage and update website content
• Publish blog posts, podcast pages, landing pages, and resources
• Implement SEO best practices
• Monitor analytics, traffic, and user behavior
• Maintain up-to-date media, program, and resource information

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
• Develop integrated marketing strategies across content channels
• Plan and execute email marketing campaigns and funnels
• Support launches for programs, memberships, and offerings
• Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
• Create messaging that clearly communicates outcomes and transformation

Brand Integration & Storytelling
• Ensure consistent messaging while honoring distinct brand voices
• Identify cross-promotion opportunities that feel natural and aligned
• Develop storytelling that illustrates the audience journey across services
• Track audience engagement and refine strategy accordingly

Podcast Operations
• Coordinate guest outreach, scheduling, and communication
• Manage publishing workflows across podcast platforms
• Create and distribute podcast-related email campaigns and newsletters
• Maintain episode libraries, assets, and documentation

Ideal Candidate Profile

Non-Negotiable Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in digital media, marketing, or content strategy
• Proven social media management experience for brands or multi-offer businesses
• Podcast production and promotion experience
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Squarespace
• Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and Search Console
• Experience using social scheduling tools
• Ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously
• Comfort creating content for mature or professional audiences

Nice-to-Have / Typical Skills
• Video editing for short-form and long-form content
• Community or membership platform management
