As Director, Business Insights (and AI Data), you will lead the transformation of

BiOptimizers' data ecosystem from raw information into strategic business

intelligence. This role combines advanced data science expertise with executive-level

stakeholder management to build scalable analytics infrastructure that drives

growth across B2C and B2B channels. You will architect data solutions, lead

cross-functional analytics initiatives, and establish BiOptimizers as a data-driven

organization through predictive modeling and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive data

mart architecture from our Snowflake data lake, organizing B2C and B2B data

flows from Dock platform and Gold Lantern analytics

Stakeholder Leadership: Partner with executive leadership and department

heads to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and data

solutions

Advanced Analytics: Develop predictive models, customer lifetime value

algorithms, and data science solutions that drive strategic decision-making

across the organization

Platform Integration: Lead implementation and optimization of attribution

platforms (Triple Whale or Northbeam) to provide precise CAC analysis and

unit economics tracking

Data Standardization: Establish and maintain comprehensive data dictionary

and standardization protocols across all business units and data sources

Visualization & Reporting: Oversee Tableau implementation and advanced

dashboard development for executive and operational reporting

AI-Enhanced Analytics: Leverage AI capabilities within Snowflake, Tableau,

and attribution platforms through effective prompt engineering and

AI-assisted data analysis

Data Governance & Security: Establish data governance frameworks and

ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) for customer

data, implementing data security protocols and access controls across the

data ecosystem

Marketing Attribution & Customer Journey: Build comprehensive customer

journey mapping and multi-touch attribution models to optimize marketing

spend across channels, developing cohort analysis and customer

segmentation models for personalized marketing strategies

Operational Analytics: Partner with operations teams to optimize inventory

forecasting, supply chain analytics, and demand planning while developing

real-time operational dashboards for order processing, fulfillment, and

customer service metrics

Financial Analytics Integration: Collaborate with finance on revenue

recognition, subscription analytics, and financial forecasting models, building

automated financial reporting and variance analysis for executive leadership

Experimentation Support: Serve as key stakeholder in A/B testing and

experimentation processes, providing statistical frameworks and analytical

support to drive data-driven decision making across the organization

Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing business

intelligence team while establishing best practices for data governance and

analytics

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance,

operations, and product teams to identify opportunities for data-driven

optimization

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or analytics

leadership roles

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and statistical modeling with proven

track record of building predictive models in business environments

Extensive experience with modern data stack technologies including

Snowflake, Tableau, and cloud-based analytics platforms

Understanding of AI-powered analytics tools and prompt engineering

techniques for enhanced data analysis and automation

Demonstrated success leading data architecture projects and implementing

data warehouse/lake solutions

Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex

analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Experience with e-commerce analytics, customer acquisition cost

optimization, and unit economics analysis

Proven ability to build and lead analytics teams in fast-growing organizations

Strong project management skills with experience delivering complex,

multi-stakeholder data initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands and subscription commerce

models

Familiarity with marketing attribution platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam, or

similar)

Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related

quantitative field

Experience in health and wellness, supplements, or consumer products

industry

Knowledge of modern data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)

Experience with machine learning operations (MLOps) and model deployment

in production environments

Strategic thinking with ability to see both big picture data strategy and

detailed execution requirements

Strong leadership presence with ability to influence cross-functional teams

without direct authority

Exceptional problem-solving skills with bias toward data-driven solutions

Work Location

This is a fully remote position. BiOptimizers has a globally distributed team and supports flexible work arrangements across time zones.

Company Hours & Collaboration

With team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs. At BiOptimizers, we support flexibility — team members are encouraged to work the hours that best suit them, as long as they:
