As a transformative consortia builder, you will be at the forefront of bringing together key leaders, experts... and innovative minds to direct the design and expansion of innovative public-private partnerships that reshape the paradigms of diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
? Leadership: Lead the formation of multiple consortia-based programs, guiding key leaders to identify questions, therapeutics approaches, and issues within the mental health landscape.
? Innovation: Drive change and advancement in the field by encouraging fresh ideas, different targets, and policies to address mental health challenges comprehensively.
?

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-sector stakeholders, including overlapping with neuroscience initiatives and leveraging biomarker experts within the organization, to create a multidisciplinary approach to mental health research.
? Problem Identification: Collaborate with experts to identify problems related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neuropsychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD, and schizophrenia.
? Translation Science: Collaborate with associate directors and principal scientists to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and practical applications, ensuring advancements lead to tangible benefits for individuals with mental health conditions.

Qualifications:
? PhD in neuroscience or relevant area.
? In-depth knowledge of mental health research, with a focus on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
?

Strong connections within the scientific community, including key opinion leaders.
? Visionary mindset with the ability to drive change and innovation.
? Seasoned professional capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders including NIH Institute/Center Directors, leaders in biopharma, and the philanthropic and patient advocacy investment community.
?

Position requires minimally, quarterly in-office visits to mid-Atlantic region and travel to conferences
