Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Talent Data Analytics to lead our Talent Data Operations & Insights team. This role is designed for a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex workforce challenges. You'll partner closely with Talent Partners, Delivery leaders, and executive stakeholders to deliver tailored insights that are strategically embedded into our talent practices and methods of working.
Your primary objective will be to cultivate an insights-driven Talent organization that enables strategic workforce choices and drives superior talent and business outcomes through data-enabled decision making. This is a hybrid position that combines the best of both worlds—the collaborative energy of our campus environments with the flexibility of remote work when not onsite.
Key Responsibilities
As the leader of our Talent Data Operations & Insights function, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the Talent Data Operations & Insights crew with a sharp focus on strategic partnership and customer-driven products that deliver measurable value to the organization.
- Roadmap Development: Develop a comprehensive transport roadmap that supports the development, execution, and evolution of the overall Talent strategy to meet dynamic business needs.
- Insight Delivery: Provide relevant, actionable insights to Talent Partners and Delivery leaders, proactively highlighting wins, opportunities, and risks with informed recommendations that drive action.
- Data Modeling: Develop sophisticated data models that are easily digestible and empower the team to make informed decisions quickly and accurately.
- Priority Identification: Identify priorities and roadmap elements unique to the business, skillfully incorporating multiple internal and external data sources for comprehensive perspective.
- Strategic Enablement: Enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the capacity to directly influence business results through data literacy and insight application.
- Consultancy & Tools: Deliver high-quality Consultancy, Analysis & Insights, and user-friendly Self-Service Tools that democratize data access across the organization.
- Influence & Governance: Influence leaders on leveraging available insights effectively and drive governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management.
Qualifications We Seek
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a closely related field demonstrating increasing responsibility and impact.
- Strong domain expertise in business areas relevant to talent management and human resources, combined with comprehensive knowledge of internal data ecosystems.
- Proven experience in developing and executing talent strategy, analysis, and insights plans that deliver measurable business value.
- A demonstrated track record of delivering complex analysis and insights that support strategic initiatives and drive organizational success.
- Ability to develop scalable and repeatable solutions that meet evolving business needs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience driving governance efforts, including business process improvements and establishing clear accountability frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Data Science, or Human Resources Management.
- Experience in retail, technology, or large-scale enterprise environments with complex workforce dynamics.
- Knowledge of emerging HR technology platforms and people analytics tools.
- Experience in change management and driving cultural transformation through data adoption.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
