Role overview

The Disputes Analyst tracks and researches credit bureau disputes; responds to customers and credit reporting agencies to ensure discrepancies are resolved. They also investigate and respond to requests for point of authorizations arising from chargebacks, and ACH returns; produces monthly reporting to Brigit’s banking partner in a timely manner.

*Please note - this role will be a 3-6 month contract.

What you’ll be doing

Reviews sensitive consumer information (credit bureau data, personal identifiable information, customer account information).

Managing internal dispute processes end to end, including investigation, responding, and information verification

Maintains a clear knowledge of current policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal laws and regulations, and best business practices

What you have

Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience

1+ years in operations or banking, fintech, credit disputes, and/or fraud

Chargeback and Credit Investigations & Disputes experience preferred

Credit bureau e-OSCAR furnisher reporting experience preferred

Ability to use/learn current technology and software applications related to position

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to review statements and reports accurately

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Dedicated, self-directed and reliable

Knowledgeable of state and federal laws and agencies applicable to credit reporting, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) would be an asset and/or willingness to learn

Compensation

The anticipated fee for this position is $24 - $30 per hour. The actual fee offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the contract position.
