The District Direct will oversee, direct and manage facets of business within the branch offices. Monitors sales activity to ensure profitability within the Branches as is associated with CBX Solutions as a company; and establishes operational goals while staying abreast of changing needs within the organization and Branches.

This position can be located anywhere in the Northeast (CT, VT, NY, ME, MA, NH). This role will manage locations throughout the NE and frequently travel. 

Essential Functions

Branch Operations & Performance Management 

Oversee overall performance across 4–5 CBX Solutions branch locations 

Ensure branches are operating efficiently and meeting performance expectations 

Maintain visibility into sales activity, production, and day-to-day execution 

Financial Oversight & P&L Management 

Own branch-level P&L performance across assigned locations 

Review of financial reports, including revenue, expenses, labor, and margins 

Monitor key metrics and identify trends impacting profitability 

Manage and control costs, including labor and operational expenses 

Ensure adherence to approved budgets and financial targets 

Address variances and implement corrective actions as needed 

Leadership & Team Development 

Lead and support branch managers and local leadership teams 

Set clear expectations and reinforce accountability for results 

Coach and develop leadership talent across locations 

Support hiring and team development efforts 

Operational Coordination Across Branch Functions 

Oversee coordination across core functions, including: 

Operations 

Project Management 

Shops and Production 

Installation 

Detailing 

Ensure teams are aligned to support execution and delivery timelines 

Identify and address breakdowns in workflow or coordination 

Customer & Contractor Support 

Support branch teams in maintaining strong customer relationships 

Assist with resolving escalated issues impacting projects or service 

Partner with commercial contractors to support project execution 

Revenue Execution & Business Support 

Ensure branches are positioned to fulfill incoming business 

Support execution of sales efforts through operational readiness 

Identify gaps in execution that may impact revenue delivery 

Business Reporting & Leadership Alignment 

Provide updates and insights to senior leadership 

Ensure branch activity aligns with company priorities and goals 

Maintain awareness of market conditions impacting branch performance 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience 

5–7 years in distribution or building materials environment 

Experience with commercial doors, frames, hardware and/or integrated security preferred 

Prior branch management experience preferred 

5+ years of leadership experience 

Experience working with contractors and industry professionals 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience 

5-7 years of experience in distribution management or related type of building/construction materials required 

Experience in commercial doors, frames, hardware preferred

Experience managing a branch preferred

5+ years of direct management experience required

Prior experience interacting with contractors and industry professionals required

Intermediate to advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required

Physical Demands
