 ROLE OVERVIEW

 About the Client:
 The client is a rapidly growing pet treat manufacturer specializing in high-quality, chemical-free dog and cat treats. We operate across multiple channels, including e-commerce, wholesale, and retail. As we move into a new facility and scale our operations, we are looking for a high-level partner to help organize the "chaos" of a fast-growing business and serve as the "glue" that keeps our team and processes aligned.
 About the Role:
The client is looking for a highly diligent, operations-minded E-commerce Marketplace Manager to oversee, scale, and coordinate our multi-channel online presence.

This is not a role for a passive task-doer. We need a strategic operator who will obsess over product health, organic keyword rankings, inventory coordination, and platform-specific growth opportunities across our entire digital ecosystem.

While we retain a specialized agency to handle day-to-day Amazon operations, you will serve as our internal anchor—setting targets, managing SKUs, and auditing agency performance to ensure a cohesive brand strategy. If you have an established playbook for marketplace SEO, understand how to navigate high-growth platforms, and want to own the digital nervous system of a premium pet brand, we want to hear from you.
 Key Responsibilities
1. Existing Marketplace Optimization
Google Shopping: Manage and optimize product listings and data feeds to ensure compliance and maximum visibility across Google’s shopping ecosystem.

Walmart Seller Center: Take full ownership of Walmart operations, optimizing listings and executing strategies to scale our presence. Amazon Agency Oversight: Act as the internal point of contact, setting performance targets and auditing agency execution. Shopify Shop: Manage and optimize the primary Shopify storefront to serve as the single source of truth for product data and inventory syncing.

Growth Marketplace Expansion
TikTok Shop: Drive progress on this high-priority channel by owning day-to-day operations and creator/affiliate network management. Target Plus & Chewy: Lead the setup and ongoing management of our presence on these premium pet retail digital platforms. Shopify Collective: Oversee partnership and wholesale fulfillment channels within the Shopify ecosystem.

Facebook and Instagram / Pinterest: Manage social commerce listings, advertising feeds, and native shop operations to maximize reach. Agentic, ShopDot, Loop & Tie (and Others): Lead the evaluation, setup, and maintenance of specialized partner channels for market expansion.
3. Daily Operations & Alignment
Catalog Health & SEO: Constantly audit and optimize listings across all channels for SEO, high-converting copy, image accuracy, and search visibility.

Inventory Coordination: Partner closely with our logistics team to align inventory levels with multi-channel sales forecasts, mitigating stockouts and overstocking. Promotional Execution: Leverage native platform promotions (e.g., Walmart Flash Picks, TikTok campaigns) and sync them perfectly with the brand’s master calendar. Pricing Integrity: Monitor and maintain pricing parity across all marketplaces to prevent account suspensions or buy-box suppression.

Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Platform Expertise
Proven Track Record: 3+ years of experience in multi-channel e-commerce marketplace management, specifically working with US-based brands. Core Toolkit: Deep, hands-on experience with Shopify, Walmart Seller Center, and Google Merchant Center is required. Social Commerce Savvy: Direct, demonstrable experience scaling a brand via TikTok Shop (including affiliate management) is essential.

Retailer Marketplaces: Prior experience onboarding or managing brands on Target Plus and Chewy is highly preferred. Sales Growth: Proven experience in driving significant sales growth and optimizing revenue across all listed e-commerce platforms and channels. Operational & Professional Skills
Marketplace SEO: Bring an established playbook for driving organic keyword rankings and optimizing listings on major platforms.

Strategic Mindset: A proactive operator who takes extreme ownership. You don't just wait for instructions; you identify platform bugs, optimization gaps, and growth opportunities independently. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills required to seamlessly bridge the gap between our internal team, external agencies, and platform support.
