About the Position:
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA)
This position is located at the DOW Education Activity HQ, Office of Chief of Staff, Ops, Plans, Legislation & Policy Division, Operational Readiness Branch in Alexandria, Virginia.
All candidates must reside within the local commuting area where the position is located.

Duties
Help
Lead the exercise lifecycle for DoDEA School Emergency Management Team (SEMT) Training. Facilitate exercises that actively engage principals, teachers and support staff. Assist in the development of Emergency Action Plans (EAP), checklists, and briefing materials tailored to school and installation audiences.
Align emergency management (EM) program activities with DoDEA Administrative Instructions, DoD directives, National Incident Management System (NIMS), and federal requirements. Serve as a technical advisor for mass warning and notification capabilities. Provide technical assistance during real world incidents or planned events, support Standard Response Protocols, initial incident briefings, situational reporting, and resource coordination.
