Pride Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join a team in Republic, MO 65738. This position is ideal for a dynamic healthcare professional with a strong background in first aid, emergency medical response, and workplace wellness. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.</li><li>Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.</li><li>Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.</li><li>Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.</li><li>Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.</li><li>Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.</li><li>Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.</li><li>Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.</li><li>Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.</li></ul> Qualifications: Required:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.</li><li>One of the following:</li><li>EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.</li><li>Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.</li><li>Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.</li><li>Skilled in digital record keeping.</li></ul> Additional Information:<ul><li>Location: Republic, MO 65738</li><li>Training Schedule: M-F 07:00-03:30</li><li>Shift Schedule: Wed to Sat 6:00 pm-04:30 am </li><li>Contract Length: 2 months with possible extension.</li><li>Pay Rate: $30 - $36/hour</li></ul> *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
