TRADER is a Canadian leader in digital automotive solutions, seeking a User Support Engineer to join their IT team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support to internal employees and collaborate with IT and engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide white-glove technical support to end users, both onsite and remotely
  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT incidents, service requests, and user inquiries
  • Install, configure, and support Windows and macOS laptops, mobile devices, and corporate IT applications
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Document issues, resolutions, and updates in the service management system
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to resolve escalated issues
  • Create and maintain support and procedural documentation
  • Provide end-user guidance and training when required
  • Support device lifecycle activities including onboarding and offboarding
  • Follow IT security policies and best practices
  • Deliver excellent customer service aligned with company values

Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and mobile technologies
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with Zoom meetings and collaboration tools
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and Okta
  • Exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Interest or hands-on experience using AI-based assistants or productivity tools
  • Basic understanding of how AI systems such as large language models work
  • Curiosity about applying AI to improve IT support processes, documentation, automation, or user experience
