Engineering Services Agent
Noblis is a company that tackles the nation's toughest problems through advanced solutions for critical missions. They are seeking an Engineering Services Agent to support hardware/software installation, modification, and removal for engineering control systems, specifically on the USS Zumwalt class destroyers.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development, design, and testing of electrical components, mechanical systems, equipment, systems, and devices to meet various technological needs and applications within organizations
- Supporting engineers in the design, modification, and improvement of components and processes, identifying and recommending improvements and preventive actions, and inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment, components and systems
- Monitoring processes and equipment in operation and training/supporting Ships' Force on installation, repair, modification and operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues
- Perform technical operations, analysis, and quality testing
- Perform standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability and timeliness to ensure performance is met in production processes
Skills
- This position requires a Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience as an Electrical Technician (troubleshooting electrical, networking, systems, and controls equipment). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree will also consider an Associates and 3 years, or High School Diploma or Trade/Industrial School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
- 2 years experience in engineering principles, technologies, and tools to support engineering projects and operations across various domains
- 2 years experience in engineering and technical operations to undertake analysis, design, and development activities to improve services
- Must be a US Citizen and have an active security clearance or ability to obtain an active security clearance
- Up to 20% travel required to support ongoing shipboard efforts
- Must be willing to spend the first few weeks in Philadelphia for training
- Physical requirements (ability to lift 50Ibs, maneuver in difficult spaces...)
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Prior experience with Profibus/Fieldbus
- Prior experience working within the DoD
