This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technical architecture, and delivery execution. Operating above any single project stream, you will define the long-term platform strategy and govern how Salesforce integrates into the broader technology ecosystem (ERP, Data Warehouse, Middleware, etc.).

You will serve as the "connective tissue" on multi-cloud programs, ensuring that individual workstreams align technically and from a data model perspective.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span>This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong consulting skills, focusing on problem-solving and leading technical projects within the Salesforce (and other) ecosystems.  Enterprise Architects at Thunder are problem-solvers - so here's your chance to showcase your tenacity and help redefine how technical architecture can be delivered.</span></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li class=""><span>Serve as the Technical Leader for customer engagements from inception through support, defining the long-term Salesforce platform strategy.</span></li><li class=""><span>Define the system architecture and identify gaps between the current and desired end-states to deliver a comprehensive CRM solution.</span></li><li class=""><span>Govern how Salesforce fits into the broader technology landscape, ensuring seamless interoperability with third-party systems.</span></li><li class=""><span>Forecast detailed estimates for proposed solutions and clearly articulate the benefits and risks of feasibility and functionality.</span></li><li class=""><span>Ensure that the overall solution design is compatible, scalable, and adheres to best practices.</span></li><li class=""><span>Review and approve architecture decisions across streams, establishing design patterns and enforcing guardrails on customization vs. configuration.</span></li><li class=""><span>Create diagrams, draft design documentation, and employ best practices to lead technical aspects of implementation and optimization projects.</span></li><li class=""><span>Oversee the development team to ensure the system meets client expectations, proper testing is conducted, and performance is monitored.</span></li><li class=""><span>Partner with offshore and nearshore resources to conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, and clarify design decisions.</span></li><li class=""><span>Help to define and enforce coding and documentation standards at Thunder.</span></li><li class=""><span>Remain current on Salesforce product and technical capabilities.</span></li><li class=""><span>Support sales efforts by accurately estimating the technical level of effort.</span></li><li class=""><span>Demonstrate expertise through blog writing, public speaking, and client presentations.</span></li></ul><h3><br></h3><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li class=""><span>7-10+ years of technical or consulting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically as an architect, solution engineer, IT consultant, or developer in a customer-facing role that provided differentiated software technology solutions</span><ul><li class=""><em>Key areas of expertise we’re looking for:</em><span> Service Cloud, MuleSoft, ARM, Data 360, Marketing Cloud, AWS/Amazon Connect, etc.</span></li></ul></li><li class=""><span>4+ years’ experience as a Lead Architect (Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, Platform Architect, etc)</span></li><li class=""><span>Technical skill set should include system design and architecture, Lightning Component development, Flows definition, Salesforce configuration, Apex class development, and API integration. </span></li><li class=""><span>Expert in custom and managed-package API integrations (RESTful + SOAP)</span></li><li class=""><span>Proven implementation using Salesforce Integration Patterns</span></li><li class=""><span>Expertise in data modeling and complex data migrations</span></li><li class=""><span>Active Salesforce certifications and willingness to achieve additional certifications on emerging technologies</span></li><li class=""><strong>Required:</strong><span> Salesforce Admin, </span><strong>at least</strong><span> 2-3 out of the following Strongly recommended Certifications:</span><ul><li class=""><strong>Strongly recommended certifications:</strong><ul><li class=""><span>Platform App Builder</span></li><li class=""><span>Platform Developer I </span></li><li class=""><span>Sharing and Visibility Architect </span></li><li class=""><span>Data Architect</span></li></ul></li><li class=""><strong>Nice to Have certifications:</strong><ul><li class=""><span>Sales Cloud Consultant</span></li><li class=""><span>Service Cloud Consultant</span></li><li class=""><span>Experience Cloud Consultant</span></li><li class=""><span>Platform Developer II</span></li><li class=""><span>Javascript Developer</span></li><li class=""><span>Mulesoft Integrations Architect </span></li><li class=""><span>Identity and Access Management Architect </span></li><li class=""><span>Deployment Lifecycle and Deployment Architect</span></li><li class=""><span>Application Architect</span></li><li class=""><span>System Architect</span></li></ul></li></ul></li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Why Thunder?
