Summary

We are looking for a Enterprise Middleware Developer with strong hands‑on experience in Java, microservices, and Spring‑based development, along with deep exposure to IBM integration technologies. This role involves building and integrating enterprise‑grade services in a SOA‑based architecture, working across application and integration layers. This role is strictly involved in application development, integration, and middleware services and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. The work is limited to service development, integration, and platform engineering activities and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health or personal information.

Your role in our mission

Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring / Spring Boot

Build and support RESTful and SOAP web services deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

Develop and enhance integration flows in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), including ESQL‑based message transformations

Integrate applications using IBM MQ and JMS for reliable, asynchronous communication

Work in a service‑oriented and integration‑driven environment, collaborating with architects, analysts, and cross‑functional teams

Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues in middleware and service layers

What we're looking for

A senior developer who combines strong Java programming skills with enterprise integration experience, and who is comfortable owning services end‑to‑end in complex, distributed environments.

Must‑Have Skills

Strong hands‑on experience in Java development, microservices architecture, and Spring / Spring Boot

Experience building RESTful and SOAP web services

Hands‑on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and ESQL development

Experience working with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

Solid understanding of SOA principles, integration patterns, and service‑based architectures

Working experience with IBM MQ and JMS

Good‑to‑Have Skills

Experience with Rules Engines (e.g., IBM ODM or equivalent)

Exposure to API Management platforms (IBM API Connect, Apigee, etc.)

CI/CD and DevOps experience (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)

Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in middleware or integration contexts
