Job Overview
We're seeking a talented and ambitious Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our team in Jefferson City. As a key member of our data analysis team, you'll be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing data, as well as providing daily helpdesk support. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Organize, manage, and profile data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Demonstrate expertise in moving data between production systems and across multiple platforms.
- Create stunning data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that tell a story and drive business decisions.
- Acquire data from multiple sources, maintaining databases and ensuring seamless integration.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports that inform business strategy.
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
- Identify and define new process improvement opportunities, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Utilize software such as Power Bi, SSRS, and Crystal Reports to retrieve and combine data in various reporting tools.
- Continuously review existing reports for accuracy, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Perform historical data analysis, uncovering trends and insights that inform future decisions.
- Provide software and helpdesk support when needed, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experience.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An Associate degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in performing data analysis, database design, data models, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with Power Bi, SSRS, and Crystal Reports.
- Database querying skills (MS SQL Server).
- Broad experience in IT, with a basic understanding of software, servers, and desktop support.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop, OneDrive, and Office 365 Exchange.
- Ability to demonstrate deadline and detail-oriented project and ticket completion.
