About arenaflex

arenaflex is a fast‑growing leader in interactive entertainment and digital experiences, delivering immersive games and cutting‑edge tools to a global audience. With a culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement, arenaflex empowers its teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible in game development and technology. Our mission is to create unforgettable experiences while fostering an environment where every employee can thrive, innovate, and grow. As part of our expansion into new markets, we are building a dedicated data‑centric team in Paraguay to support the entire production pipeline, from concept art to final release.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Entry‑Level Data Entry & Process Improvement Specialist to join arenaflex’s multidisciplinary crew. In this role, you will act as a bridge between our art, engineering, and production teams, identifying workflow inefficiencies, building custom asset pipelines, and maintaining the suite of tools that keep our development process running smoothly. While the position is entry‑level, you will be given ownership of critical data‑management tasks and will have the opportunity to influence the design of tools that power multiple game development disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑volume data entry, validation, and quality‑control activities across all project assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Proactively detect inefficiencies in existing workflows, document pain points, and propose data‑driven improvement solutions.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to gather requirements, evaluate trade‑offs, and implement approved process enhancements.
  • Maintain, extend, and support arenaflex’s current set of development tools, scripts, and custom gear used daily by production teams.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom asset pipelines that automate repetitive tasks such as texture conversion, model optimization, and metadata tagging.
  • Contribute to the growth of arenaflex’s proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across multiple game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and internal frameworks.
  • Assist in the creation of documentation, training materials, and best‑practice guides to help teammates adopt new tools and processes efficiently.
  • Participate in regular cross‑functional meetings to share progress, gather feedback, and align on project priorities.
  • Support the full lifecycle of tool development: from problem identification, through prototyping, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation evaluation.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions, collecting metrics to demonstrate impact on productivity and quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Passion for empowering others: Demonstrated enthusiasm for helping teammates achieve their best work through clear communication and supportive tooling.
  • Strong interest in the full device (tool) lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing solution options, implementing tools, and measuring effectiveness.
  • Experience or academic exposure to custom game engines, with a solid understanding of how assets flow through a pipeline.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python.
  • Familiarity with scripting or development in Unreal Engine or Unity is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and .NET technologies for building internal web‑based tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a self‑directed environment, managing time and priorities without constant supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus for local collaboration).
  • High attention to detail, with a methodical approach to data entry and validation tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or project experience developing plugins or extensions for Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Exposure to version‑control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of database concepts and experience with simple data‑storage solutions (e.g., SQLite, CSV handling).
  • Experience creating automated build or asset‑processing pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or custom Python scripts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation for non‑technical audiences.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical mindset: Ability to dissect complex processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose logical improvements.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams, listening to diverse perspectives, and building consensus.
  • Technical curiosity: Eagerness to learn new programming languages, engine APIs, and emerging tooling trends.
  • Problem‑solving: Resourceful in troubleshooting issues, testing hypotheses, and iterating on solutions.
  • Organizational skills: Efficient at managing multiple tasks, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment typical of game development cycles.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex is committed to investing in the professional development of its employees. As a Data Entry & Process Improvement Specialist, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship from senior engineers and tool developers who will guide you through advanced pipeline design.
  • Paid training courses and certifications in game development, data science, and software engineering.
  • Opportunities to transition into full‑time engineering, production, or quality‑assurance roles as you gain experience.
  • Regular internal hackathons and innovation days where you can pitch new tool ideas and prototype them with support from leadership.
  • Cross‑departmental exposure, allowing you to understand the end‑to‑end game creation process—from concept art to live service deployment.
