As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sales within non-acute markets, developing relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving growth for the company's wound closure product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined non-acute territory to meet or exceed sales goals for Corza Medical’s Wound Closure and surgical product portfolio
  • Identify and convert new customer opportunities through prospecting, product presentations, and follow-up
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and procurement/purchasing teams
  • Conduct in-services, product demonstrations, and staff education sessions to support product utilization
  • Develop account strategies that increase product adoption and market share within assigned territory
  • Monitor customer activity, market trends, and competitor actions; communicate insights to sales leadership
  • Maintain accurate sales and activity records using CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to managing sales activities, time, and travel
  • Travel within assigned territory up to 30% of the time; territory covers Long Island, Buffalo, N New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 0–2 years of sales or customer-facing experience (B2B, healthcare, or related fields)
  • Interest in medical device or healthcare industry; previous internship or entry-level exposure is a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel within territory and occasionally overnight
  • Must live within the assigned territory area
  • This role requires meeting the hospital credentialing requirements
