ERP Program and Transformation Lead
Overview
The ERP Program and Transformation Lead is responsible for leading Joy Baking Group’s enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP transformation program, ensuring successful execution from strategy and planning through implementation, migration, and business adoption. Working directly with the selected ERP implementation firm, this role partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, IT teams, and systems integrators to align ERP transformation initiatives with operational, financial, and strategic business objectives. This role provides overall program leadership and governance across all phases of the ERP transformation, including scope, budget, timeline, risk management, organizational readiness, change coordination, cross-functional alignment, and vendor management.
The ERP Program and Transformation Lead will play a key role in driving enterprise process standardization, operational transformation, and long-term program success across all Joy Baking Group locations. This is an 18-month initial engagement with possible extension.
Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide ERP transformation planning, execution, governance, and delivery across all business functions and manufacturing sites
Manage overall ERP program scope, budget, timeline, resource planning, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities
Establish and maintain ERP program governance structures, status reporting, executive communications, and steering committee alignment
Coordinate cross-functional business, operational, and IT to ensure alignment across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate functions
Manage the SI’s day-to-day delivery against the SOW
Maintain critical path visibility and dependency management all workstreams
Partner with business leadership to support organizational readiness, process standardization, adoption planning, and operational transformation initiatives
Coordinate ERP-related data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, deployment, and stabilization activities in partnership with technical and functional teams
Support change management, communication planning, training coordination, and business readiness efforts across all sites
Identify and manage program risks, escalations, resource constraints, and critical path dependencies throughout the ERP lifecycle
Ensure alignment between ERP transformation initiatives and long-term business strategy, operational goals, and enterprise technology roadmap
Provide regular executive-level reporting on program health, milestones, financials, risks, and overall transformation progress

Ability to identify program risks, dependencies, and operational impacts and support development of mitigation strategies
Ability to facilitate meetings, drive decision-making, and maintain alignment across stakeholders and project teams
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing high-impact strategic initiatives
Ability to develop and maintain project documentation, status reporting, governance materials, and executive communications
Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage changing priorities and tight deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project or related project management tools
Ability to travel to all Joy Baking Group locations as required
Must be able to access all office and plant environments, including walking, climbing stairs, and occasional standing for extended periods during meetings, workshops, or site activities
Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 20 pounds as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of experience leading large-scale ERP implementations or enterprise transformation programs within manufacturing environments
Experience with leading ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or Workday
Experience leading large-scale ERP transformation programs in manufacturing or supply chain environments
Experience managing enterprise software implementation partners and third-party vendors
Strong understanding of ERP governance, business process transformation, and organizational change management
Experience coordinating cross-functional business and technical teams across multiple locations
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management preferred
PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or related certifications preferred
