Full-time

Overview

Stealth, mission-critical sector. Seeking a full-time, UK-hours operator who makes high-pressure personal and business problems disappear calmly and fast. You'll work directly with the Director, owning outcomes end-to-end with minimal hand-holding.

Role Snapshot
• Type: Full-time employed role, fully remote
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, 08:00 - 17:00 UK
• Responsiveness: Acknowledge new requests within 10 minutes during core hours; set and keep realistic ETAs
• Location: Global, provided you can work UK hours

What You'll Own (examples, not exhaustive)
• Personal operations at pace: appointments, travel, purchases, vendors, events, follow-ups, and sensitive errands handled discreetly
• Business support as needed: supplier sourcing, light research, simple site/landing commissioning, basic recruitment coordination
• Vendor/partner management: define brief, obtain quotes, compare options, recommend, instruct, and track to completion
• Executive communications: convert long briefs into a crisp TL;DR with options/risks; phone-first to unblock, email to confirm
• Systematisation: every solved task becomes a short SOP/checklist so the next time is faster
How You'll Work (standards and SLAs)
• Phone-first, bias to action: ask the right clarifying questions once, decide, act, and update
• Planning: propose Plan A with pre-validated Plan B/C; escalate early if constraints shift
• Delivery speed: same day for simple actions; 23 days for complex multi-step tasks unless re-agreed in advance
• Documentation: brief options decision outcome captured in a simple, reusable template/SOP

Authority & Guardrails
• You act with sound judgement and seek approval before any material commitment or long-term contract
• Clear escalation paths: surface blockers early, offer options, and recommend a decision
• Occasional out-of-hours support may be required; scheduled in advance where possible

Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Fluent, confident English (C1/C2), including live phone calls with UK-based contacts
• 5+ years in operations/service delivery where you owned outcomes, not just tasks
• Microsoft 365 power user (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint/OneDrive); comfortable with VoIP and virtual desktops
• Research & decision-making: turn noisy inputs into decision-ready comparisons with a clear recommendation
• SOP mindset: you naturally codify repeatable steps and keep things organised
• High integrity & discretion; comfortable handling confidential personal and business matters

Security & Work Setup
• Use your own laptop/desktop; you'll access our secure, virtualised Windows desktop environment
• Reliable internet 50 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up, latency
