**The Opportunity:**
As an ACT/SAT Math/Science Prep Tutor at arenaflex, you'll have the unique opportunity to work directly with high school students in a one-to-one setting, helping them prepare for the ACT/SAT exams. Our flexible, part-time schedule allows you to choose your own hours, making it an ideal fit for those seeking a fulfilling and flexible career in education.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Work with students in a one-to-one setting to prepare them for the ACT/SAT exams
* Develop and implement personalized learning plans to cater to each student's needs
* Provide guidance and support to help students build confidence and achieve academic success
* Collaborate with our team to ensure a seamless and supportive learning experience for all students
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
**Requirements:**
* A 4-year degree from an accredited institution
* Certification or licensure in education (a plus, but not required)
* All experience levels are welcome to apply, from beginners to seasoned professionals
* A caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in math and science
* Familiarity with ACT/SAT exam formats and content
* Strong knowledge of educational technology and digital tools
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (a plus)

**Schedule:**
* After-school hours (2:00-8:00 pm, Monday-Thursday)
* Saturday hours (9:00 am-2:00 pm)

**Ability to Commute/Relocate:**
* Reliably commute or plan to relocate to Chattanooga, TN 37421 before starting work
