**Job Description**
As an After School Dance Instructor at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to inspire young dancers and make a lasting impact on their lives. **Key Responsibilities**
* Plan and implement engaging dance lessons for children aged 5-12, with a focus on beginner level
* Execute recreational dances and create a positive and inclusive class environment
* Teach dance techniques, choreography, and coordination skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression
* Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during dance classes
* Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and physical growth
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and successful program
**Qualifications**
* Must enjoy dancing and have a strong desire to inspire young dancers
* Knowledge of different dance styles (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc.)
* Experience teaching dance to kids is a plus
* Ability to create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans
* Excellent communication skills
* Energetic, patient, and knowledgeable on how to share positive feedback
* Great ability to motivate and encourage young dancers
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Dance, Education, or a related field
* Experience working with children in a dance or educational setting
* Certification in dance or a related field (e.g. CPR, First Aid)
* Familiarity with arenaflex's programs and services
