Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions. This is a part-time opportunity, working 8 hours a day, with a competitive hourly salary of $26. The successful candidate will be based in Tampa, USA, and will have the opportunity to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre- and post-analysis of customer programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing campaigns to inform business decisions
• Designing and implementing A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of pilot programs
• Maintaining and updating business tools and models, such as BPM or Course Planning models, to meet business requirements
• Identifying errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and providing solutions to address these issues
• Proactively analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and providing recommendations to drive business growth and improvement
• Supporting the development and implementation of business strategies and plans to achieve financial targets
• Creating business models and scenarios to inform strategic decisions
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or forecasting
• Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities
• Strong data literacy and ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
• Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement
• Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong change management skills and ability to adapt to changing business needs

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable but not essential:

• Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, simulations, solver, and SQL
• Statistical analysis using R or similar tools
• Knowledge of Edge Minder (Notable Intelligent Digger) or other data mining/sales reporting tools
• Knowledge of SharePoint
• Operational understanding of selling, distribution, warehouse, and production processes
• Project management or service experience
