**Daily Responsibilities of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**

As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

* Scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence with high accuracy and efficiency
* Researching claims that come back with errors to identify and correct the issues
* Entering data into our electronic records system with high speed and accuracy
* Meeting production numbers and attendance requirements to ensure high performance
* Entering 20 claims per hour with 97% accuracy, demonstrating exceptional data entry skills
* Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or concerns related to claims processing

**Schedule and Pay**

* Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
* Hourly pay: $15/hour
* Length of assignment: 3-month contract with opportunity to extend or convert to permanent position

**Requirements of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 6+ months of experience working in data entry, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Excellent typing skills, with the ability to type 35+ WPM
* Ability to work from home (WFH) with a smartphone, high-speed internet, and a private workspace
* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
