Job Overview
As a Clinical Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our Customer Service-Clinical department. Your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming calls from providers, members, and health plans, addressing a wide range of topics, from benefit information to problem resolution. You will be working remotely from the comfort of your own home, utilizing company-provided technology equipment, and participating in online meetings via video conferencing. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner
- Communicate professionally at all times, both verbally and in writing
- Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in our proprietary systems
- Look up caller information using our proprietary systems and provide information to the caller
- Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department
- Utilize appropriate resources, including online resources, to provide timely responses
- Manage your time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is done in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all legal and compliance requirements
- Complete all required trainings in a timely manner and attend weekly staff meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork
- Respond to requests from internal and external customers and/or clients as required
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize and maneuver in multiple systems during a single interaction
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally at all times
Preferred Qualifications
