About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Based Therapist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Community Based Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with youth and families in a telehealth setting, providing assessment, treatment, and support to address behavioral health difficulties in the home, school, and community. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telehealth services to youth and families, including assessment, treatment, and support to address behavioral health difficulties
  • Utilize evidence-based and supported service models to increase functioning and stability within the family system
  • Integrate trauma-informed and resilience-focused treatment to facilitate successful transitions and prevent out-of-home placement
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments

What You Bring to This Role

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong passion for helping others, a desire to make a difference in your community, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. You will also possess:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology)
  • An active LPCC, LISW, or LIMFT license in good standing in the State of Ohio
  • A strong working knowledge of clinical diagnoses using the DSM-5 and interventions to address mental health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • A valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and reliable transportation (note: this may not be required for fully remote work arrangements)

Essential Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working with youth and families in a clinical or therapeutic setting
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and resilience-focused treatment
  • Experience with telehealth services and electronic health records
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
