Job Overview and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be part of our Operations and Customer Center (OCC) team, which is the "heartbeat" and operational hub of arenaflex's global operations. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be assigned to one of our teams that support our daily operations, including the Load Control Center, Fuel Strategy, and other critical functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with aviation experts to utilize data and solve operational business challenges
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop applications and efficiencies that reduce workload for our frontline teams
- Researching and developing strategies to determine safe and conservative fuel loads, improve aircraft routing, and enhance payload forecasting
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and stakeholders
- Participating in projects and initiatives that drive operational excellence and process improvements
Teams You May Be Assigned To
As a Customer Care Representative, you may be assigned to one of the following teams:
- Load Control Center: responsible for aircraft weight and balance, fuel delivery, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company specifications
- Fuel Strategy: responsible for developing strategy, tools, and sustainability policy for our annual fuel consumption
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Availability to work for at least three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, with a Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM schedule
- Enrollment with an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfort working in team and individual settings
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Familiarity or experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of airline operations, scheduling, and planning
