Job Summary

This is an entry-level position that offers a unique chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Call Center Representative, you will work under direct supervision, following standard procedures and best practices to accomplish assigned tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, making outbound calls, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and members. You will also have the opportunity to undergo job training, assist staff members with daily duties, and work towards becoming an independent and confident customer service professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Help Desk phone coverage for incoming calls, outbound calls, and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff members
  • Master and gain efficiency in systems leveraged by the Help Desk to ensure seamless customer interactions
  • Resolve customer service issues and provide support to clients and members in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with the startup of new clients, including new group enrollments, changes, and deletions
  • Participate in on-site client orientation, health fairs, and business conferences as needed
  • Perform office duties, such as copying, collating, mailings, filing, and credit card processing, as required
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Courses
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • 0-2 years of experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare or hotel-related service (preferred)
  • Exceptional phone and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to attending scheduled work shifts and maintaining a high level of productivity

Special Conditions of Employment

Please note that this role requires:

  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Drug testing, as part of our hiring process and ongoing employment
  • Completion of HIPAA Privacy and Security Courses, as well as other mandatory training programs
