**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Aviation Industry Ground Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience with blithequark
* Serving as a key member of the ground operations team, working alongside other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of flights
* Handling all aspects of ground operations, including baggage handling, aircraft loading and unloading, and marshalling aircraft for departure
* Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
* Assisting passengers with special needs and accommodations, including wheelchair assistance and unaccompanied minors
* Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the blithequark brand and upholding its high standards of customer service
* Communicating effectively and efficiently with team members, flight crew, and other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers
* Proactively identifying and resolving any customer service issues or concerns, using problem-solving skills to find creative and effective solutions
* Adhering to all company policies and regulations, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code
* Continuously striving to improve and maintain a high level of performance, seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement
* Keeping a clean and organized work environment, including the ramp and baggage handling areas
* Attending required training sessions and staying updated on industry and company changes, policies, and procedures
* Complying with all security and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and securement of aircraft doors
* Maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a teamwork-oriented culture, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
* Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
