About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative for our after-hours team, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and nurses, providing timely and effective support to resolve queries and concerns. This is a full remote position, offering a 3-day working week with 4-hour shifts per day, and a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day. Key Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls and respond to queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Resolve client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours support
- Provide timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
- Notify clients and replace caregiver callouts as necessary
- Confirm caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
- Perform initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
- Document all scenarios on our platform, as well as update caregiver schedules as needed
- Complete non-urgent admin projects if time allows
Requirements and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and confident, with a strong ability to empathize with clients and nurses
- Responsible and reliable, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- 10+ years of work experience in customer service and office duties, with a strong understanding of staffing and healthcare operations
- Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours, with a willingness to work independently in a remote setting
- Impeccable phone and computer skills, with experience working with various software platforms
- Experience working remotely and independently, with a quiet and professional work-from-home environment
- Remotely set up with Wi-Fi and load-shedding back-up, to ensure seamless connectivity and productivity
