Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative role at blithequark is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of office and remote work. Once you've completed our comprehensive training program (approximately 6 months), you'll have the flexibility to work from home for 2 days and spend 3 days in our office. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to support assigned customers and ensure seamless communication
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve operational issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Provide backup support across all functions within the customer team to ensure continuity
  • Share best practices and learning opportunities with peers across all Customer Experience teams
  • Receive customer calls/emails and engage with a warm, pleasant, and helpful attitude
  • Identify customer needs and enter orders into the ERP system timely and accurately
  • Resolve customer complaints by troubleshooting and/or engaging necessary internal departments or CRM
  • Keep customers informed of their order status at all times, with no exceptions

Initial Delivery Requests and Order Entry

In this role, you will be responsible for managing initial delivery requests and order entry, including:

  • Receiving customer calls/emails and engaging with a warm, pleasant, and helpful attitude
  • Identifying customer needs and entering orders into the ERP system timely and accurately
  • Ensuring all other needs are identified and met by engaging with the customer
  • Identifying customer problems and resolving them timely, either directly or through other departments
  • Communicating with the customer throughout the process and ensuring a successful transfer of the call (if needed) to the appropriate person

Order Entry and Logistics

You will also be responsible for ensuring all loads requested are entered successfully, and the order number is provided to the customer. This includes:

  • Working with logistics to confirm carrier availability and communicating confirmation back to the customer
  • Escalating to other departments as needed for support and communicating the status of efforts throughout
  • Keeping the customer informed of their order status at all times, with no exceptions

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma
  • Customer Service experience, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Team environment experience, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, with basic Excel and Outlook proficiency required
  • Enthusiasm, effective problem-solving, and efficient decision-making skills
