Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear and concise information, and ensuring that their needs are met
- Learn and understand our ETM software operation, as well as billing and account operations, to provide accurate and efficient support
- Answer and document all telephone inquiries, researching and resolving problems with patient bills, and updating patient insurance coverage as needed
- Print courtesy claims and itemized statements, rebill accounts after receiving insurance information, and arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plans as needed
- Perform other duties and assignments as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a strong understanding of the Microsoft Windows environment. You should be able to speak, listen, and type simultaneously, with excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Previous experience in retail, restaurant service, or customer-facing roles is highly desirable, as is a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands.
