**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* Connecting directly with clients who reach out to us for various reasons, from helping them find their new pet to resolving critical issues.
* Examining and resolving issues to provide suitable solutions to clients, thinking proactively, and setting follow-up meetings on a case-by-case basis to ensure contact resolution.
* Working with empathy, using undivided attention, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to clients and colleagues alike.
* Collaborating with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an engaging customer-driven culture of cooperation.
* Working with a willingness to learn, sharing feedback, receiving input, and working in a culture of being receptive to growth.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* 2 years of customer service experience
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written evaluation
* Ability to perform multiple tasks (e.g., keeping a conversation on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a high-speed environment
* Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to assist in supporting our clients
* Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization
* Flexibility to move your schedule and stay at work past 40 hours depending on the situation by the specialty unit
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive data
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to pass a personal investigation

**Technical Requirements**

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

* A workspace that's large enough to accommodate computer screens and free from distractions, including any background noise that affects the customer experience
* A workspace suitable for webcam use
* A strong wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed – you can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider)
* A wireless or tablet device that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Confirm (options include a smartphone or tablet with the Okta mobile app, a phone that can receive SMS messages and calls)
