We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our blithequark+ product, marketing, and content curation teams. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis activities, including data collection, data preparation, and data analysis to build reports, tables, and charts
* Joining different data sets using SQL to aid in the everyday operations of the blithequark+ customer experience tracking project
* Collaborating with different teams to conduct research at blithequark, including communicating project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and improve our data sets
* Building and maintaining relationships with research partners within the team and from different divisions of the company as well as external vendors
* Analyzing and preparing ongoing and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of blithequark+ and the blithequark Streaming Bundle
* Managing assigned projects, implementing quality assurance processes, and reporting assignments and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines
* Working with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is strategically relevant and drives key direction
* Collaborating with the team and analytics groups within Snowflake and Databricks
* Maintaining excellent verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements
* Responding to basic data requests from internal clients
* Supporting the presentation of findings based on analysis conducted and contributing to related business discussions
* Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the SVOD and In-Home industry
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 1 year of relevant work experience
* Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract and combine original data sources
* Ability to extract data and combine with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business
* Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills
* Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
* Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in a environment of tight deadlines and constant change
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
* Experience with data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)
* Experience with survey tools (e.g., Interpret, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
* Experience with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages
* A postgraduate degree in Market Research or Statistics
* Quantitative analysis background, either supplier-side or client-side
* Experience with analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights
* Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy
