Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to work with our transportation analytics crew, a business intelligence team that drives the transportation department's daily operations. As a Data Analyst, you will assist our customers in navigating complex data sets to make informed decisions in a timely manner. You will work closely with operations and finance teams to provide actionable insights and improve business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions
• Design and implement ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or processes to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Develop data visualizations using Tableau to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, including metrics prioritization and outlier detection
• Document processes and share expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience)
• Creativity with a User Experience foundation to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience)
• Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to identify and root cause business problems, and a Supply Chain background with transportation experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
