Job Summary
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team as an Information Researcher – Item. As a key member of our research team, you will provide quantitative analysis, market expertise, and a critical perspective to our partners across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, design and execute research studies, and communicate findings to stakeholders. About the Role
As an Information Researcher – Item, you will be responsible for conducting data analysis to inform business or product decisions. You will create and present compelling stories with data, using visualizations to communicate complex insights to stakeholders. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, design and execute research studies, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Your work will have a direct impact on the development of arenaflex's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct data analysis to inform business or product decisions (i.e., cost savings, investment opportunities, determining, influence analysis)
- Convey successful presentations of findings and recommendations to various levels of stakeholders, creating visual presentations of quantitative data
- Create and automate reports, iteratively build and model dashboards to provide insights at scale, addressing scientific needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, design and execute research studies, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Assist arenaflex in focusing on key decisions to improve products and services
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in data analysis and research. You should have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Sciences, etc.) and experience working with data sets (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.). You should also have excellent critical thinking and written/verbal communication skills, with a strong business acumen.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Sciences, etc.)
- Experience working with data sets (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.)
- Experience articulating research questions, extracting data from datasets (SQL), and using insights to arrive at a conclusion
- Strong critical thinking and written/verbal communication skills, with a strong business acumen
- Ability to interpret research results into business recommendations
- Interest and ability to work with data, statistics, research, and patterns, and applied data on estimation, insights, and program assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Sciences, etc.)
- Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute research studies
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses
