**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will provide advanced clerical, customer service, and administrative support to our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
• Performs account maintenance duties, prepares and receives vouchers and requisitions as directed
• Posts transactions into our system, including returns, inventory adjustments, and other relevant data
• Reconciles records, investigates transaction errors, and resolves problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Files business documents and responds to vendor/customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitors and orders office supplies and other small purchases to ensure a well-stocked and efficient workspace
• Arranges meetings, takes meeting minutes, and provides administrative support as needed
• Fills in for other Data Entry Clerks as needed and works cooperatively with others to achieve team goals
• Provides assistance with various administrative tasks, including annual inventory counts, preparation of material requests for approval, receiving/logging materials for delivery, and sizing/orders uniforms for personnel
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**
• Two years of experience in general office, bookkeeping, or personnel operations
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, vendors, and customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Previous experience with data entry software and systems
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with inventory management and control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
