**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote workforce and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for capturing and updating data into our relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You'll work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify and correct errors, and ensure that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.

**Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Clerk with arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:

* Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and data
* Capturing and updating data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner
* Identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
* Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
* Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
* Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
* Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
* Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely
* Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
* Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
* Handling additional duties from time to time as required

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or equivalent
* At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
* A good command of English, both written and spoken
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
* Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
* Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
* Familiarity with data entry software and systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with data backup and security procedures
