**Job Summary**
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely entry of prescription information into our pharmacy systems. This is a remote opportunity that offers an immediate start for the right candidate. We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy database
* Verify the accuracy and completeness of prescription orders
* Process and manage insurance claims and prior authorizations
* Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details when needed
* Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
* Uphold patient confidentiality and data security standards
* Assist in inventory management and other pharmacy-related tasks as required
**Qualifications**
* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or in the process of obtaining certification
* Prior experience in pharmacy data entry is preferred but not required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of pharmacy software and prescription processing systems
* Familiarity with insurance claim processing is a plus
