About the Role: Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, with a strong background in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical modeling. As a Data Scientist at Coders Brain, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through data-driven insights and solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to drive business outcomes
  • Work with large, complex datasets from varying sources, including transactional and enterprise data, unfiltered data sets, internet/public data, and data science research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
  • Develop prototypes, deploy models in production, and contribute to software development
  • Work with distributed computing, GPU, cloud platforms, and Big Data domains, including HPC, GCP, AWS, MS Azure, Hadoop, and Spark

Essential Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science
  • Intermediate knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling, including predictive modeling, churn analysis, time series forecasting, computer vision, text mining, recommender systems, market basket analysis, segmentation, graph analytics, natural language processing, and text analytics
  • Proficiency in data wrangling, visualization, and modeling using R or Python
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, Market Research, or a related field
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and distributed computing environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
  • Industry experience in retail banking, consumer products, financial services, TMT (tech-media-telco)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
  • Strong business acumen and ability to bridge technical and business contexts
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work with multi-office/region teams
