About the Opportunity

As a Preply English Tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum, and utilize our integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students. You'll also have access to training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price
• Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with students
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students

Essential Qualifications

To become a Preply English Tutor, you'll need:

• Proficiency in English
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• A high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• A strong track record of successful language teaching
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools
