**The Challenge**

We're looking for a talented developer to create Receptia, a virtual receptionist that can understand and respond fluently in Québec French and Canadian English. The system must be able to receive VoIP calls, connect to the OpenAI/ChatGPT API, and perform natural speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with OpenAI API integration, VoIP/SIP, and low-latency real-time development.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Full Stack AI Developer on our team, you'll be responsible for:

* Developing Receptia, a virtual receptionist capable of answering phone calls in real-time, powered by OpenAI/ChatGPT
* Integrating OpenAI/ChatGPT API for intelligent handling of VoIP calls
* Implementing real-time speech recognition using Whisper, Deepgram, or equivalent
* Developing natural text-to-speech functionality using ElevenLabs, Azure TTS, or equivalent
* Creating a simple web interface to manage scripts, responses, and logs
* Implementing audio and text conversation logging
* Option to transfer to a human operator

**Phase 2 Features (Optional)**

* CRM integration
* Appointment scheduling using Google Calendar or Outlook
* Automatic SMS/email sending
* Caller recognition for returning customers

**Preferred Technologies**

* OpenAI API (mandatory)
* STT/TTS: Whisper, Deepgram, Azure, ElevenLabs
* VoIP/SIP: Twilio, Asterisk, or equivalent
* Backend: Python, Node.js
* Frontend: React.js, Vue.js
* Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
