**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Health Insurance Billing Resolution team. As a key member of our remote team, you will be responsible for resolving patient medical billing inquiries, collecting payments, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week contract position that requires a Windows-based personal computer, high-speed internet, and a personal phone. **Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing EOBs (explanation of benefits) and resolving patient medical billing inquiries
* Collecting payments and assisting with patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges
* Providing exceptional customer service to our clients via phone, email, and online chat
* Working closely with our team to resolve complex billing issues and provide timely resolutions
* Maintaining accurate records and reports, including time tracking and productivity metrics
* Participating in online team meetings and company Q&A forums
* Meeting daily quality and productivity quotas, as well as contributing to the overall success of the project
* Reading and understanding EOBs, following up on denials and appeals, and maintaining accurate records
* Navigating multiple systems and software programs, including electronic medical systems
* Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

* **Minimum of 1 year experience** in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry
* **Excellent communication skills**, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, clients, and team members
* **Attention to detail and accuracy**, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
* **Previous experience working with electronic medical systems**, including EOBs and billing software
* **Ability to navigate multiple systems and software programs**, including Windows-based computers and high-speed internet
* **Friendly and professional demeanor**, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in high-pressure situations
* **Ability to work independently**, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team
* **High-speed internet** and a personal phone, with the ability to maintain a quiet and distraction-free work environment
* **Ability to complete mandatory on-boarding training**, including online videos and live meetings
* **Availability to work Monday through Friday**, during Hawaii Standard Time
