Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Customer Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Keeping up with Circulation Center (DC) offices and equipment to boost task execution.
- Performing assigned preventive support tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other Dispersion Community (DC) equipment.
- Utilizing the Modernized Support Technicians Framework (MSTF) to maintain dispersion equipment and gear according to the manufacturer's suggestions and best practices.
- Working with Expert Maintenance Specialists to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on advanced mechanical equipment.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by reporting and addressing potential safety issues concerning material-handling equipment or DC office.
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A partner's certificate in Modern or Support Technology AND at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Alternatively, 4 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of modern power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors.
- At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Regulator (PLC) logic standards.
- At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), System Control Programming (SCSs), and scanners.
- At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), remote Info/Result modules (I/O), servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
- Ability to work at heights of up to 100 feet to make repairs, despite reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds, despite reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to perform tasks that include bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking, despite reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
