**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team as an Online Chat Assistant & Data Item Clerk. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and technical skills. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data-driven insights, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain data-driven insights to inform business decisions
* Create reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
* Develop and maintain data pipelines and data architecture
* Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify and implement new data sources and variables
* Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and trends
* Validate data for accuracy and completeness
* Research and remediate data errors
* Participate in the Data Governance program to ensure data quality and integrity
* Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness
* Provide recommendations to team leaders on areas for improvement

**Essential Qualifications**

* 2+ years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence
* Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards and reports
* Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
* Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
* Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
* Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with Smartsheets
* Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
* Experience with data storytelling and creating impactful visualizations
* Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
