**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Analyst on the Transportation Analytics crew, you will be responsible for:
* **Data Analysis and Visualization**: Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and provide essential business insights. Develop ETLs or strategies to centralize data from multiple locations and create impactful Tableau dashboards.
* **Data Storytelling**: Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to share relevant information and establish credibility. Analyze stakeholder needs and collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency.
* **Automation and Scripting**: Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks, such as metrics prioritization and outlier recognition.
* **Documentation and Knowledge Sharing**: Document your approaches and share your expertise with colleagues.
Mentor team members as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
**Key Requirements**
* **Excellent SQL Skills**: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
* **Tableau Expertise**: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on user experience and creating impactful dashboards.
* **Business Operations Fluency**: Strong understanding of business operations, with a background in supply chain management and transportation experience.
* **Excellent Communication Skills**: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas effectively.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* **Advanced SQL and Tableau Experience**: 2-4 years of experience with SQL and Tableau, with a focus on data visualization and business insights.
* **E-commerce Operations or Parcel Service Experience**: Experience working in e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
* **Scripting Language Experience**: Experience with Python or other scripting languages, with a focus on automation and data manipulation.
* **Data Manipulation Tools**: Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
