**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, working closely with our data science team to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Cloud-based platforms, Big Data, and Machine Learning.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
* Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
* Work with data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes
* Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients
* Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met
* Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
* Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach for a given use case
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on Cloud and Big Data
* Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other relevant languages
* Experience with Cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
* Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
* Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its data challenges
**Skills and Competencies**
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
* Experience with Cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
* Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other relevant languages
